Do I follow up with people who haven't responded to our invitation with an RSVP? We asked for responses by February 2 which is less than a week away. It just seems like it would be appropriate for invitees to either respond with an acceptance or a decline. I know a couple of them are coming but...

Do I follow up with people who haven't responded to our invitation with an RSVP? We asked for responses by February 2 which is less than a week away. It just seems like it would be appropriate for invitees to either respond with an acceptance or a decline. I know a couple of them are coming but haven't returned the RSVP (single male friends of my FH), and another out of town couple who reserved a hotel room, but others we just aren't sure. What's the best thing to do? It's not like I'll turn them down if they respond late, but I want to be sure we have the right head count for the caterer and the seating arrangements.

    I was really hoping that my mailbox would be packed this week with the last minute responders... but so far, i have got NOTHING. three days without a single RSVP. and up until this point i was almost getting at least one a day. this is not encouraging...
