No Registry, (Don't need anything) need suggestions

We've lived together but are still registering for "our" things. Everything was either his or mine from our previous houses. Now it will be ours.

A cat tree? A nice dog bed? A grill cover? A cold brew coffee maker?

I think it's awesome! You are in no way forcing people to donate to anything. If they want to they will and if they don't they'll give you cash. I totally know what you mean about not needing anything. Upgrading perfectly good home gadgets is so wasteful to me. Who really needs a towel warner?? I've lived my entire life without one and I'm doing just fine.

People don't like to be told what charity to donate to. This can be very tricky, and could offend someone. I would do as Elphaba suggests.

Yes I have a towel warmer. We just installed heated bathroom tile floors also. My FH is a contractor. If I want it, he will buy it or build it. Like I had the hardest time buying him Christmas gifts, because if we need it, he goes out and buys it lol I just wanted to donate rather than accept? Geez ha

I understand. I just don't think everyone likes to live like that. I don't need to be extravagant. I'd rather donate to the people who literally have no food than have warm underwear.
