No one to walk me down the aisle

Didn't grow up with dad , don't get along with step dad so right now I have no idea who will be walking me down the aisle. Who's walking you down the aisle?

There's nothing wrong with walking alone. If you insist on having some, you could do a brother/sister, mom, uncle, cousin, aunt, BFF. Basically someone important to you. For me, my mom will be walking me because my dad passed 6 years ago. If he would've been alive, I would've had both of my parents walk me.

My mother walked down the aisle by herself. If i didnt feel close to someone i would do the same. Dont feel forced to have someone walk with you. Do what makes you the most happy

Both my parents are gone. My dad recently died. My go to person when things are tough is my mother's sister. I am having her walk me down the aisle.

It doesn't have to a man (that's just the tradition of giving the bride away...), so what about your mom?

My dad passed 12 yrs ago and unfortunately I'm estranged from my brothers. I have an adult son but don't want him to walk me (I had him when I was 18 and am choosing to have him as my man of honor) and don't want my mom to walk me, so I/we decided that I was walking by myself and my FH was going to walk up and meet me 1/2 way and we would walk together... it's kind of symbolic if you think about it.

I don't know if you have kids or not but my mom had me walk her down the aisle in her first wedding and in her second she's having me, my brother, and my sister.

Since I am not close to my father or my previous step dad I am having one of our family friend's walk me down. He has always been there for me and has filled the dad role pretty much my whole life.

My friend had her husband's younger brother walk her down the aisle last year because she had grown up with their family all through childhood.

It can be anyone as long as you are comfortable with that person.
