No necklace with strapless dress?

I would make that decision based on what your dress looks like. If it is really detailed or sparkly a necklace may be over doing it. If it's more subtle then go for it. I would try the necklace on to see if you like it with the dress. You can always change your mind.

I had the same problem but I know I needed a necklace bc I'm not wearing a bracelet. I found one on RTR that was subtle but perfect $45 rental

Here's the necklace if you want to do the same thing. Also, there are brides for the reviews that have worn this with pictures included. Gave me a better idea

No necklace, I am wearing long chandelier earrings.

I'm not wearing a necklace because I am not a big necklace person and as strange as this sounds I'm really self conscious of my neck and don't want to draw attention to it.. lol

I wore my mother's necklace from her wedding, it was very small and delicate. Would not have gone without it since she passed when I was a kid. I wore her rings on my right hand also

I noticed this too when looking at pictures of strapless dresses! Mine is a strapless sweetheart but I'm wearing a fancy necklace and earrings just because I want to feel super glamorous for my wedding day! On mobile had too crop that pic :/

I'm not wearing one. I have a really short neck and chest line. So it really shortens my neck.

I'm wearing a sweetheart neckline dress and I'm doing chandelier earrings, more specifically because my bodice has a lot of beading. I didn't want to take away from that part of the design with a necklace

Currently having this debate - i have a scar from having my thyroid removed in 2016 - so i was thinking of having a small one that will lay just across the scar - but i don't know yet - i am definitely doing chandelier earrings

It's up to you. My dress is strapless and I am wearing a necklace and earrings. It's all on what you want though.

My dress is sweetheart strapless and I was on the fence about a necklace but I decided to do one. If I were wearing my hair up I would do drop earrings but since I wearing it mostly down, I decided I needed a necklace for something a little extra. I would say don't rule it out, maybe look at some, but if you're really not finding one that feels right, don't worry about it! Do what feels right to you

I think online, a lot of pictures won't have jewelry because they are ads. The vendor wants you to focus on the dress, regardless of the neckline.

That said I am skipping the necklace and going with chandeliers as well. That's just my style.

But do a necklace if that's what you want! Not tacky at all.

It's absolutely fine to wear or not wear a necklace with a strapless. If you are on the fence I'd recommend you buying a necklace that you would wear again and will go with the dress, then decide what feels and looks right that morning
