No necklace with strapless dress?

Im not wearing a necklace at all. My dress already has too much sparkle add I think a necklace would we too much. Its perfectly fine to not want a necklace.

Mine is sweetheart strapless and I'm going no necklace. I splurged on some long chandelier earrings

I'm not wearing one because mi e is edged in beading and I want a hair comb and a bolder bracelet so it would be too much. If your top is less sparkle and you want to add, go for it.

A friend of mine did a rather blingy necklace with her strapless gown and it looked great! I'd say go with what looks good to you!

I think it depends on the dress. I went with a simple dress so I can wear big sparkly jewelry

My gown is strapless sweetheart and I'm doing no necklace, I'm pretty sure. I want big earrings. I think going without a necklace will show off my collarbones more

I wore a necklace and earrings. But, that's mainly because of my simple bodice. It's up to you and the complexity of your dress. OP, what does your dress look like?

I'm not doing a necklace and probably not a veil either. My dress has so much jewel on it already and I think some beautiful chandelier earrings and a hair jewel of some sort looks elegant with a strapless dress.

No necklace with a strapless dress. The point of strapless is to highlight shoulders/ chest and IMO a necklace takes away from that bareness.

IMO, I think any jewelry should add to the dress/not take away from it. Every dress will have it's own style/details.

I have a strapless/all over lace dress with little detail; so plan on wearing a necklace; but I'm also wearing my hair down/won't see any earrings.

It depends on your "look". Do you normally wear a lot of jewelry? Sometimes less is more. Focus on earrings.

I wore one, just because my neck is long enough that the proportions looked odd without one. But if that's not your situation, then you don't need one. And even if it is, you can have a simple, non-glittery one. (I just had very simple pearls.)

Im doing a strapless sweetheart and Im just wearing a very simple arrow necklace that my parents got me for graduation since i never take it off... we are also having arrows everywhere for the wedding (BM have bracelets, GM have arrow tie clips, etc.) so it fits!

I think you should try it with, and without, and then choose your favorite!
