No flowers for flower girl????

I saw an article that said they saw a flower girl throw out glitter and gold foil stars instead of flowers at a New Years Eve wedding. And I thought oh wow, that's different and very affordable. I could do that. But then I thought would it look cheap and or tacky??? What do you think??

    I don't think it's tacky. Our church doesn't allow us to throw any petals so we're just having our 2 flower girls carry baskets with faux bouquets in them and the 3rd one carry my long veil.

    I also saw a cute idea where the flower girls give the guests in the aisles blooms from the basket! That way there's no cleanup and the girls still get to pass things out, haha.

    My girls are older, and we can’t scatter anything so they will have mini bouquets
