No deposit required

Sara, on January 16, 2020 at 2:43 PM Posted in Planning 0 4
I’ve found a day of wedding coordinator whom I really love. However, she doesn’t require a deposit which I’m not sure if that’s common. There is a contract but is it weird that there is no deposit required?

Our officiant didn't require a deposit or a contract, but I'm really not concerned. In other circumstances I would be, but he was such a nice man and he has nothing but 5 star reviews. If you have a contract, I wouldn't worry about it.

As long as she has a contract, I wouldn't be concerned.

Welcome to the WeddingWire community, Sara!

I understand why you’re a bit iffy about this. If you told me there was no deposit and no contract, I would agree that it’s 100% weird. However, you do have a contract, so I personally wouldn’t be concerned Smiley smile

Did you consider addressing this with her? If you were more comfortable paying a deposit she may be willing to accept it!
