no color scheme

Is it weird to not have a color scheme, okey let me rephrase it is weird to have no colors in your wedding.. My fiance just wants a black and white wedding no other colors. I think it will give it a nice intimate and romantic feeling but at the same I feel like it will be almost borning and dull......

    Haha diana i agree! colors were the one thing my guy actually had an opinion on! so i couldnt use my black, white and red theme. lol. but madison, why dont you suggest to him that you do everything black and white and just let you have some red roses. its a simple compromise that will make it pop

    I think black and white are really elegant for a wedding but I would surely add an accent colour. What about adding hot pink or red?

    for more ideas take a look at;

    In the last site click on the links according to your colour scheme, in this case black and white. There are many ideas in these sites.Congratulations and best of luck!

    A B&W wedding is a timeless, elgant wedding, and usually thought of as formal..if you're not having an overly formal wedding. I would ass another color, like a super dark red or something..

    Thanks for the links, and here is something ive been thinking about, the Maid of Honor (small wedidng no brides maids) will be wearing all black and the flower girl wearing black with white accents now whenever I see black I associate it with funerals. So by my MOH and FG wearing black is that to morbid?

    Ive decided I am using red accents. not depe red though the red that is in the color of his dress blues jacket (see my defualt photo) My bouquet will be a red roses with maybe some white babys breath, the flower girl will sprinkle fake red rose petals with some white mixed in and ill have the invites with some white and the party favors, oh and there will be either realy but probably fake red rose petals sprinkled around the cake which is either all white or white with some blakc accents. and ya know what my fh will have to deal hahaha it wont be to over powering but it will add a nice touch Smiley smile

    thanks girls!!

    I was gonna suggest red...black and white, with the minimilasit red, sounds good...those were our colors originally...the only red, would be the invites, flowers, and linen napkins. all else would have been black and white...we was doin a mafia theme Smiley winking

    My sister did a black and white wedding, it was very beautiful and elegant. so no worries if you don't have any other colors!

    Madison I seen two year old break down going down the aisle. I seen nother one stand for the entire ceremony. I suggest having him sit with Mom or grandma for the ceremony. A wagon with sides is cute idea just add ribbons and pillows in case of spills. It will be bad if my ring bearer has a meltdown since we are his parents so Mema would have to handle it. Mema is my FMIL.
