Just curious. Can I make my wedding a no children event. I sent the STD a few months ago because we have a lot of out of town guest. I haven't sent out invitations yet. But considering there will be open bar I am have second thoughts on having children. What would you suggest ?

It depends on how you addressed the STD. If you included children you can't take it back. I'm not having children at mine at all so I don't blame you for not wanting them.

@PaQuita, most etiquette guides will tell you that adding "adults only" or "no children" is bad form. That you only need to show who *is* invited and not who *isn't*. To be more clear you can then put the no children policy as a FAQ or similar on your website without a problem. Though this is something that many people chose to do anyway, feeling that the etiquette violation is less important than making sure no one mistakenly bring a child to their wedding. Also, I will tell you that even with the note on the invite it's no guarantee. Some people genuinely don't care and will bring their kid no matter how clear you make it that they are not invited.
