No Bridal Shower?

I'm not having a bridal shower. I was not really interested in having one in the first place. My MOH asked me initially what things I wanted, like did I want a shower and bachelorette party. I told her that I didn't want a shower and thus one didn't happen. I think if you really would like one, you could talk to a friend, mom, or MOH about it.

My sister asked me if I wanted one. (No to the shower, girls day out in lieu of bachelorette party). If you really want either one ask your mom or maid of honor to organize for you.

By this post, it makes me think you want one (I could be wrong). Do you have BMs, close family, friends that are likely to throw one for you? Unfortunately, you cant really throw one for yourself which sucks bc I think every bride who wants one should get one. But it doesn't always work out that way. Wishing someone will throw one for you. I am so grateful my FH, MOH, and family are already planning one.

I'm not having one. It's not really a popular thing to do in my circle of friends. Plus I live really far way from my close family and friends.

I didn't want one, but FH's stepmom wanted to throw me one, and ppl told me that it would be rude to tell her no, so I'm just letting her throw me one.

I am not doing one. Getting together with a few girls a couple nights before the wedding for an evening out. But that's about it.

I don't want one but when I voiced it to my MOH she didn't seem happy about it, hopefully I won't have one.

We aren't having one but this is also second marriage for us so I don't feel it's needed.

Sounds like you may want one amd you should let you MOH or other close family member know so they can organize. My MOH asked if I wanted on and I said I did not. Not my thing.

I didn't have one. My mom asked me if I wanted one, and I just wasn't really interested.

I am also not getting one. My family and friends don't do bridal showers. I didn't know it was a thing till I got herem

I kinda wanted one but ended up not having it for scheduling reasons. Some very dear family friends on his side wanted to throw one but we could not find a single weekend that worked, have had to travel a lot this year. Did however manage to find a bachelorette weekend so you know, priorities! :-)

I'm not expecting one, but I also wouldn't want to have one! I've been married 2x's... a bridal shower is completely unnecessary.

ETA- no bachelorette either, that doesn't appeal to me.

I'm not having one and probably won't be having a true bachelorette either. I'll just probably go out a couple of weeks before with them.

Didn't want one. silly games, more cost for guests. Meh...

FH had his bachelor party yesterday but it looks like I won't be getting a bacchelorette party or a bridal shower

I'm not having a bridal shower. I don't really know what the point of one is when guests will already give presents at the wedding... I don't expect them twice.

I was indifferent about it, and then my FMIL insisted so now I'm having one

I'm assuming I'm not having one. My friends and family are scattered around the country and they won't all be here until the wedding anyways. So we won't be able to get together in one spot to do any of that stuff (showers, bach parties etc).

We're also doing a really small ceremony thing anyways (less than 20 people) so there'd be like no one to invite outside family & wedding party
