FH and I are not having a bridal party, and I'm kind of wondering what to do about the entrance into the reception...or even if we do one.
After the ceremony, we are going to do (hopefully only) a few pictures that we are not able to finish before the ceremony, and then we will be mingling with guests and enjoying cocktail hour. Our venue's reception area has a lower level with a bridal suite that they will bring hors d'oeuvres to for us so that we can have a few moments together. Then, we are supposed to go up the stairs and around a corner into the reception area (small distance).
Being that there is no bridal party, would we play a song to enter into? I really can't imagine it lasting longer than 30 seconds for us to get to either our sweetheart table or the dance floor, though I guess we could always have it start before we go up the stairs?
