No Bridal Feeling

OK, first of all, my mom sucks at taking good pictures too! I think it’s a “mom” thing haha That being said, I think the way you feel about a dress when you are looking at it in a picture you don’t enjoy will always be affected by it. Also, I think you will have more of a Bridal feeling once you are all “jacked up” (ie, hair and make up done, accessories on, wearing a veil and holding a bouquet). Maybe try doing your hair and make up similar to what you will have the day of your wedding, then go back to the bridal store and try on your dress again. Try on veils and accessories with it while you were there. And most bridal stores have a faux bouquet you can hold in order to give you the full picture.

I think it may just be a mom thing lol. Also, it's hard to remember exactly what a dress feels like and looks like just from pictures, and a lot of anxiety stems from only wearing one dress ever for this big day where everyone will be taking your photograph. But breathe! That dress is gorgeous and fits you nicely. I agree with Chrysta - try it with a veil and see how you feel.

Try adding a belt and veil and see how you feel. The veil did it for me. I never had a wow moment though I think a lot of people don’t. We see it on tv and expect it but everyone is different.

Have you decided how you will accessorize your dress? Perhaps trying it on all together may help you see the full picture and how you feel about your wedding day look. Are you planning on wearing a veil? As Shelly mentioned, this may help you feel more bridal.
