No bouquet or garter toss?

Im not doing either.

FH doesn't want to do it. I'm still on the fence.

I didn't have either. I think my mom was the only person who noticed. lol

I am not having either. There was absolutely no enthusiasm for the bouquet toss in the last 7 or so weddings I have been to. Maybe it's due to the fact that most of my friends are married now? They had to drag the "single" women on the dance floor and it killed the mood. I'm also pretty sure the bouquets were mainly caught by 12-year olds. As for the garter toss, I've never especially loved that tradition, I feel like it's a little distasteful. I don't want Dan going up my wedding dress in front of my families and friends.

And I pretty much don't want anything interrupting the dancing :-D

I'm meh about them both, but I think FH wants to keep them or at least he did when I last asked him about it. Since I'm refusing to have a money dance or honeyfund or any of that, I'll probably just let him do it. None of the matching up who caught the bouquet and the garter though, that's not cool.

We did and we loved it. We didnt match up the people though! It was super quick and a small way to break it up.

My florist wanted to charge me $60 for a "throw-away" bouquet. I'm not spending $60 to just literally throw it across the room! If I wanted to do that I'd go to a strip club

I'm going to take one of my BMs bouquets and toss it. They all said they don't mind.

ETA: so my answer is yes to bouquet toss, no to garter.

I was going to skip both, but then when I told my single friends they said that they liked doing the bouquet toss. As far as the garter toss, I'm into traditional things but I feel like it's a little awkward.

I am having one but if I wasn't serving alcohol I wouldn't have either as I know people will enjoy these activities significantly more with a few drinks in them

I bought a cheap garter just in case and just realised about the extra bouquet needed... Does anyone just throw their own away?

I second e=mc2. Its just awkward w/o a few glasses of wine.

If you dont have a lot of single friends (5-10) I did a wedding where it was all kids and the 7 year old caught it. Thats kinda dumb to do it just to do it.
