nj Wedding in April?

I got married the last week of this past April.

What are your concerns exactly? I’m in metro New York.

Relative had got married in North Jersey in late May.... Great weather for the ceremony at 1 pm in Central Jersey. It POURED like crazy between the ceremony and the reception start time of 6 pm, but was lovely for the rest of the night. The first year we lived in Jersey, it rained every weekend during the summer for 13 weeks in a row. I kind of feel like Jersey is a crap shoot no matter what. It will be great -- as long as you're not planning an outdoor wedding!

Right right - good point and makes sense. Weather concerns me (sometimes we have had snow that late!) and also if things are blooming or not. I felt like spring was late this year and thinking of pictures and such, and rain and cold. If I didn’t care about those things I would get married earlier and in winter, but I do care. Wondering if June would be better but then we risk heat... (Goldilocks here haha)

We are May 31. Honestly the weather lately in New Jersey is very unpredictable. Even in May I'm not keeping my hopes high. Mother Nature will do what she pleases. As a PP stated regardless just hope for the best and enjoy your wedding day.

If June is an option I would definitely go with that for weather's sake. I'm in Long Island and last year it wasn't even warm in May and most of June. It was a weird year and weather patterns have definitely shifted, but June is usually warm without being scorching hot!
