Interested in hearing your honeymoon suggestions. Here’s the situation (good & bad news).....
FH and I were originally scheduled to get married on 10/10/20. But, due to the pandemic, we decided to postpone to 10/30/21. Well, in fulfillment of one our life goals, FH and I applied for the same Ph.D program.... we were both recently accepted and begin on May 3rd (the GOOD news) 🥳🥳👩🏽🎓👨🏽🎓
But, in our excitement, it only recently crossed my mind that our wedding will occur during our 5th class (which runs from 10/18/21 to 12/10/21... and then we get a month off for winter break). However, we’re not waiting until winter and still plan to go on our honeymoon right after the wedding. So, that will likely change what our honeymoon plans look like (the “BAD” news)🤓🤓📚📚
We LOVE the ease, fun and party atmosphere of cruising. But due to the pandemic, we canceled our 14-day Caribbean cruise honeymoon and we never made new plans. So, now with school, I’m thinking that we should go with a little more chill honeymoon that offers a relaxed atmosphere (to do some schoolwork), but still has opportunities for fun.
FYI - I’m a SoCali girl who dislikes snow and hates anything hiking/camping related (taking a vacation just to “rough it” like we’re homeless isn’t why FH and I work hard 😂). Also, we’ll probably reduce the honeymoon down to only 1-week.
So, I’d love to hear your honeymoon suggestions for us.....
