Nervous breakdown

I had a nervous breakdown last night regarding the wedding. I'm doing alot of the planning myself, and although I love my FH he doesn't really help with much. I feel like I'm stressed about everything. Has anyone else had a breakdown regarding wedding planing?

I've had some meltdowns and wedding stress dreams. Unfortunately FH is also one of those that has opinions on things but doesn't exactly help with the planning. Idk how to get him more involved.

Maybe not quite a breakdown but totally fed up. At this point, as long as there's food, every butt has a chair and the bar stays open and the DJ plays great music, that's all that matters. All the small details kept getting to me, they're still on the back of my mind though.

I've had three in the past month. I have severe anxiety disorder and PTSD and social anxiety and my mom is making me have a large wedding so yeah I am over the edge. My therapist has been helping me. Could you see a premarital therapist?

We've all been there! It's going to be okay in the end. Celias advice is spot on.

My wedding stress was so bad I got on anti anxiety medication and an antidepressant. Just being honest. It helped so so much. I started to relax and enjoy it for the first time!!! I found myself crying through many a vendor meeting. In my defense though, my mom passed away a few years ago and the wedding planning made her death real all over again. And my husband works like 100 hours a week and was unable to help much. And I was dealing with a person at work trying to ruin my life. And my sister was pissed she wasn't the MOH and that we wouldn't pay for her family's flights from the state they recently decided to move to back to here.

At the end of the day, it all came together. And I'm married. And the pictures are gorgeous

I told my FH that if he doesn't want to help plan he can't complain. It seems like that's where the stress is really coming from, his lack of effort. Talk to him about it maybe but you have to remember that guys really do not care (most of the time) about any of it aside from the actual getting married part. I like celias advice on the centerpieces and the caterers.
