Nervous about dress not fitting

I’m going to try my dress in for the very first time tonight! I’m terrified it won’t fit. I bought it December 2nd and was in between 2 sizes, so they ordered the size up. They measured me twice and knew what they were doing. I think my lower half has gained a little weight, but I don’t believe my upper half has based off of how clothes fit. My dress is an A-line but I’m just scared. If it’s too small, at least I still have 5 months!

My dress ended up being too big, but that is what alterations are for!! Don't stress to much about it

Well fortunately they ordered the size up. You still have a good amount of time though so even if it doesn't fit perfect you can either have it let out or you can try a diet plan if you wanted to lose the size? If its too big they can easily take it in so you should be fine! I read if you toe the line between sizes always go bigger. Its much easier to take in then let out.

Aaaaaaand it fits!!!! The straps need to be shortened and I need boobs to be added to the dress but it’s perfect other than that!

Girl I feel you. I had a wedding dream that my dress didn't fit the day of so I started to panic as I hadn't had my first fitting yet. I ended up buying another dress in a bigger size just in case, the dream was that bad lol. My fitting was a couple weeks ago and all is good. Fit just as good as it did when I first tried it on. You still have time so try not to worry about it until you get it on. It if fits, awesome! If it doesn't, set yourself a goal and another appointment shortly after that goal to try it on again so you can check your progress. You got this!

Glad to hear your dress fits! It's always such a worry. Mine is currently a little bit big, but at least it means I can gain a few pounds in the next year and a half and still be ok xD
