Nephew walking me Down the Aisle

Hey all, so long story short my father died when I was 11. This has been so hard while wedding planning since my FH talks about his Mother son dance and stuff like that. I don't have any close uncles, no brothers, but I do have a 9 year old nephew who is my godson and I am super close with. Does anyone think it is weird for him to walk me down the aisle? My mom doesn't want to do it because she has social anxiety and I don't want to be alone. Any thoughts or suggestions from people in a similar situation? Thanks!

I think it sounds super sweet. My son and dad are both walking me down because they are my men. You do what makes you happy!

It’s a cute idea. I lost both of my parents and I’m having my brother and my nephew who will be 11 when we get married walk me down the aisle. They are the most important men in my life next to my fiancé.
