Negative Opinions

I’ve realized if I speak about our wedding, I’m getting a lot of “comparisons.” They’re quite weird though - usually it’s bragging that they had a smaller wedding, how stupid spending money for a wedding is or how they didn’t care about one. From the future mother in law to coworkers and friends, I’ve gotten these comments.
Mind you, our wedding isn’t cheap but it isn’t outrageous. I got tons of deals but it’s costing us 21K (with over 30K+ in savings so it looks over twice as nice).

Anyone else experiencing this negativity?
