My fiancé and I really want to do a photo booth but we can't afford it. Does anyone have any ideas that would be fun in place of a photo booth? Any ideas are GREATLY appreciated!! Thanks!!

I'm doing a photo guestbook with an Instax camera and having the leftover film used up throughout the night.

We're undecided on exactly what we'll do. Regardless, I'll make a cool backdrop and have a hashtag. I'll either set up a camera with a remote. Or a selfie station. Or I'll make a more in-depth DIY photobooth, using a tablet, an eyefi card, and a dslr. It depends on how techie I feel leading up to the wedding.

I think having a selfie stick station would be a good alternative, you'd have to put your own phone there though or else you may never see the pictures.

We had a photobooth and it was really fun. Even my aunts and uncles in their 60's and 70's got in it and they had some of the best pictures. The photobooth owner put all the strips into an album for us, and guests could write us a note if they wanted to. In response to the pp's who said you don't "need to" replace it with anything: of course you don't need to but there's nothing wrong with it if you want to.

There are DJs who include them in their packages we looked at putting disposable cameras at every place setting for guests to take pictures and leave them behind for us to develop the cost for that is actually more than the photo booth

YOU can DIY an instagram frame and get props for super cheap at oriental trading and at walmart Ive seen them also. I made a instagram frame for my FH 30th bday out of a posterboard from the $1 store.

You can also do a personalized snapchat filter which is only like $5-10

I seen this idea instead of using a photo booth.
