Need Help With My Glitter Jimmy Choo Shoes That Are A Size to Big

Ashley, on April 24, 2012 at 2:33 AM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 9

My fiancée was so sweet and bought me the wedding shoes I so wanted. I have always dreamed of wearing a pair of Jimmy Choo's with my wedding gown. But I am in a BIG pickle! My dress fitting is tomorrow so I had to buy my shoes last weekend. We went to Saks and there they were my dream shoes!! The only problem is that the only size they had was a 7 and ainwear a 6.5. I was so in love with them and he knew it and bought them for me. I have looked all over the Internet and cant find with particular shoe anywhere. Any ideas on how to make these gorgeous shoes work for my special day. Sales woman suggested shoe pettles and adding extra holes in the back to make them tighter. Will that work? I would hate to ruin them.

Try putting in some thick gel pads...they'll take up room in the shoe AND make them feel EXTRA comfy Smiley laugh 2 birds, 1 stone!

Is there any way to find them at another Saks? If they don't fit, your feet are going to be uncomfortable.

If not, I'd go with those gel inserts that go under the ball of your foot.

Go to a Cobbler to have the strap professionally punched for the extra hole. The shoe pettles/dr. scholls gels will be all you need since it's only a 1/2 size difference. Your feet are going to swell from being on them all day so it's probably a blessing in disguise that he got you a half size bigger.

I feel so relived now after reading all your helpful emails. The gel inserts sound like a great idea and I know my feet will be hurting so those might help BignTime! I will look for a Cobbler bc I don't want to try doing that myself. Thank you for all the great responses ! I hope all, your weddings are a Blessed Day!

Get these things called Kushyfoot.......they are amazing! I got mine from drugstore.com. They have ones that will work with that shoe.

Wow great shoes, did you try the Jimmy Choo in Manhattan? The insoles for the ball of the feet may help to raise your foot closer to the top of the shoe for a fit thats more snug, you can try that. Also I would suggest calling the Jimmy Choo store her in NYC and get a receommendation of wehere you can take the shoe to get altered if you choose to do that, you want it done by someone who can work with a Jimmy Choo Smiley smile good luck
