Need help choosing nail polish color

Hi everyone! This Saturday I'm going to a wedding as a guest in a dark blue gown. Here's a picture with my hand in the front and a recent picture of my face. I'm not sure which nail polish color to use. Blue is my favorite color but I want to avoid blue on blue. I'm thinking a dark purple, maroon, or even a Barbie pink. I'm open to suggestions! Thanks!!

I love dark blue. In fact, it's one of my favorite fashion colors. I'd tend to go with the blue on blue (probably with a silver accent), but you have options. You can go peach (frosted or matte) on blue, light pink on blue, nude on blue, blood red on blue or, if you really want a contrast, yellow on blue.

Since you mentioned pink, you might want to consider a two toned manicure incorporating the dark blue and pink...something like this:

I really appreciate the new suggestions. I will rethink the blue on blue. Although many have mentioned that a bit of contrast would be nice. I agree. Thanks for the detailed reply Rachel.
