I'm 100% and not religious but looking for a Greek priest for my outdoor wedding in the Chicago area. It's proving to be impossible. Help!

I'm not sure how it is for Greek Priests, but I know it's super hard for Catholic priests. My fiance was in a wedding in 2015 that was outside & Catholic. They had to find a VERY progressive priest and sign paperwork saying they would both be married in the church in the same year.

FutureMrsD is so right with her comment. Catholic and Greek catholic or Greek orthodox priests are not easy to have to officiate a wedding ceremony outside the church. Matrimony is a sacred sacrament to them and most refuse to have the ceremony somewhere other than sacred ground like the church.
