Need a Father/daughter Dance Song - Looking for alternative suggestions

I haven’t decided 100% yet but a song that my dad and I used to always sing together was heaven let your light shine down 😊

The only one I can think of for my dad and I is Wildflowers by Tom Petty. I’d really love to find an Eagles song that would fit for the dance but I haven’t found any yet.

My plan is to dance with my dad to John Lennon's version of "Stand by Me"

I'm the same way of seriously disliking country music! (That's all my MOH could suggest for things 🤮) I grew up listening to classic rock and was really struggling to find a good song that wasn't the typical "My Girl" or "Beautiful world" the song I decided on is called Father/Daughter by Paul Simon.

My dad and I are using Don't Worry Be Happy.

My dad isn't really much of a slow dancer. He loves oldies music so I'm going to mix about 30 seconds of 4 songs together. We'll start with a slowish song, then, will go into faster songs. I'm doing "My Girl" by The Temptations, "Staying Alive" by the Bee Gees, "Boogie Shoes" by K.C. and the Sunshine Band, and "Sweet Home Alabama" by Lynyrd Skynyrd (we're huge Alabama football fans). I'm really excited about it because I'm going to surprise him with it!
