I have no idea what to do with mine! It just does what it wants, won't hold a curl won't stay straight. And I don't even have a cute curl.. Smiley sad

I have massive curls! Like afro poof huge frizzy terrible curls. I plan on having somebody do my hair for my wedding but I will definitely be doing a trial run! I am thinking that I should straighten it and then have her curl it with a curling iron so it's "pretty" curls. I have to see how well it will hold up though. I don't want a curly up do of the curls are just going to fall Smiley sad

I second Zeny's post. I will be going naturally curly as I always do - but lots of hairspray. Frizz Ease Moisture Barrier is most effective, IMO. Ask your stylist to use it. Also be sure to find a stylist who is experienced and comfortable with curly hair. In my experience, most stylists' kneejerk reaction to curly hair is to just blowdry it straight.

Not sure where you're located, but if there is a Ouidad salon near you, I also highly recommend checking them out.

I just made the decision last week to go with straight hair vs my curls and I'm still a little sad about it. My curly hair isn't easily styled. It gets frizzy too easily. A good styled hair day with my curls is just something I stumble upon. Not plan. Straightening my hair is just easier and makes things look more polished.

I have naturally curly hair that I straighten on a daily basis. Wedding day will be no different.

I have frizzy/curly/straight all over the spectrum hair. I always blow dry it straight, but as soon as it hits ANY humidity, OR sweat from dancing, it goes insane. So for my wedding I didn't take any chances, and I got a brazilian blowout (keratin heat treatment). My hair was PERFECT for my wedding which was on the ocean. I would highly recommend it, it took ALL the worry away on my wedding day!

Future Mrs. Y, have you straightened and re curled your hair before? In my experience it will not re-curl because you already used a hot tool once. I have always found that it is better for me to curling iron curl it from the natural curl.

My hair is so curly and hard to manage. So I just straighten it everyday and the wedding day will be the same.

My hair is super curly my ass will be doing rollers AND blow dryer in order to get the look I want. My natural hair looks way to casual and for a formal look I have to get it straightened.

I have naturally curly hair and I still had mine curled. I wanted bigger curls, and I wanted them to all look perfect and not have to worry about it.

Hm yes so many dilemmas with curly hair.

Like another bride said my hair will not curl after straightening with a flat iron.

I've done several runs with different stylists.

one blow dried aND curled after it was not to frizzy but the curl was not how I liked it was more loose dont know if it was supposed to be that way.

Another one styled it from my curly hair but I had oil in it and it was soooo frizzy.

another straightened aND tried to curl after. Smiley sad

I have natural curls too and haven't figured this out yet. FH loves my natural hair and won't want it straight, but the natural curls are just too unpredictable! I might have to experiment with blowdrying and then curling for "neat" curls... yikes.

My hairdresser just curled mine over my curls. Have you looked into a Keratin Treatment? It is suppose to reduce frizz greatly. Here is a picture of my hair naturally, and the day of the wedding.

My hair is very curly- but thin. I plan on blowdrying it straight (not flat ironing) so it can be done up with heating tools. I will be having my hair up (to avoid frizz from sweating while dancing etc.) and possibly adding some extensions to make it a bit fuller.

I have super wavy hair. We had our rehearsal dinner the day before, so I made an appointment with my salon and got a blow out. It ended up working out really well since the products they used for the blow out made styling my hair for the wedding much easier.

I cant make up my mind either! In my sisters wedding they straightened my hair and put it up. But for my wedding I don't want to straighten my hair. I want to show off my curls but FH wants my hair up. Here are a couple of my inspirations i found on pinterest

I have very curly hair too from root to tip. I am definitely straitening mine. I want loose beachy waves. For special occasions I prefer to straighten my hair anyway, besides I prefer my hair straight half the time(even though I don't do it for the health of my hair).

Is a keratin treatment and a blowout the same?

Do they take away your curl or just reduce frizz?
