Had a wedding planned in Puerto Rico for Feb unfortunately the island has been hit with a series of earthquakes so I can't have my special day there. I am very sad for what's happening in P.R. I also have to change my venue with a tiny budget. anyone else can relate? any suggestions?

Maybe go next door in DR or Miami? I am so sorry that happened and for those suffering. I hope you find a place.

I’m very sorry to hear that, Yesenia. My thoughts are with those suffering.

Where are you based? Would you consider having a hometown wedding? With the short notice, it may be easier to plan locally. Alternatively, would you be happier to postpone to a later date to give you more time to plan?

I live in Connecticut. I am currently considering getting married in CT. I am looking at venues but most charge more for spring, summer or fall weddings but the idea has crossed my mind.
