Nail trim gone wrong

So today was a complete nightmare of a day. 2 people call out, one person on vacation and that left only me and another girl in the grooming salon. (I’m a dog groomer). Okay fast forward to the hectic part of the day. Walk in nail trim comes in, mom says dogs bad for nails. (This usually isn’t a surprise I’m used to having bad dogs fight for nails, it’s a given) take dog back. I clip back nails first, dog doesn’t fight to much, I get to front paws (always causes trouble the fronts) I ask the other girl just hold the dog and make him feel comfortable. Well, as I get to the last nail, the dogs back end jumps up and somehow nails me right in the face with his freshly cut nails and now I have a scratch going from my eye down to my mouth. Oh... did I mention my wedding is in 10 days??😂 help!!!!! I need this cleared up fast!

Neosporin and don't touch! Sometimes crushed aspirin with some water turned into paste can reduce redness and swelling.
That and a good foundation

Oh no! If it makes you feel any better, I have a sunglasses sunburn on my face and my wedding is on Saturday hahahaha! I would just treat it nonstop with neosporin then vitamin e after! And lotion once it heals!

Oh gosh, Kristina! What an inconvenience, especially 10 days out!
How is it healing now?
I’m sure if it’s not fully healed, your makeup artist will be able to cover it up in some way! It’s amazing what they can do covering acne scars, etc.

It’s healing up nicely surprisingly! I’ve been trying to keep it moisturized!! I’ve already talked to her she said if there is a scar left she can cover it up!

Poor girl! I'm so sorry about that! I would do a light coating of Neosporin on it daily until it starts to clear up. BTW, did the dog have up to date rabies shots--and do you have an up to date tetanus shot? If not, I suggest going to get one tomorrow. Prayers for speedy recovery, and a very happy wedding day!

It’s thankfully clearing up its 40% better! But yes, we require dogs to be up to date on rabies and we can’t touch the dog without seeing the certificate! But thank you!!! I’m just happy it’s clearing up well
