Nail Pricing

Anna, on September 1, 2017 at 5:49 PM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 47

When you get/got your nails done how much do you plan/did you pay? Looking into a salon now and going to try them out tomorrow. I don't get my nails done often so looking for fair pricing for a job well done. I'm simple, I like just a French manicure and pedicure. Would love to see pictures of your nails that you plan to get or had done Smiley smile Any other nail advice welcome.

This totally depends on where you live and the saturation of the market. For me here in Southern California it can range from $18 for a french to $45 if I am going to do tips or gel.

I go monthly and get gels from a local gal who owns her own salon and it's $55 unless we get real crazy with stuff. Mani/Pedi is usually $100 but she's worth it, it lasts for a month without chipping. It's my splurge.

@Anna that isn't too bad for that area. My mom went to a place off Sandy Plains and 92 and it was $22 for a plain mani. I pay a bit less (about 35 for both), but I live in an area that has an over abundance of nail salons.

This is another place I was recommended. I'll check it out if I don't like the first one I mentioned.

Rebecca, which one?? The nails trendy place? Or the nail culture salon? That is awesome to get such a positive reaction either way.

West coast: Gel mani $40, Gel pedi $65

ETA this is very dependent on location and what you want.

I get gel (highly recommend, doesn't chip and you can't smudge it) for $35. Pedis usually run for me $35. I go for the spa ones. I hardly ever spend anything on myself. But , mani/pedis are so relaxing!!!

Gel artificial nails (I don't know proper terms), costed me about $75 to get them put on (their ombre,) and about $50 I think for a fill in. I know a regular gel manicure is around $30.

Basic mani and pedis are $15-$30. Gel is around $34-$40 for mani or pedi. The place I go to charges $5 extra for French.

I'm in NJ; I get a clear gel then colored gel, then another coat of clear. It costs 57.00 and it lasts USUALLY about a month unless I"m trying to screw objects together with my nails. It takes 45 minutes and I hate it, but my hands are in everyone's photos.....My manicurist uses OPI almost exclusively, and their colors are amazing.

And yes, I'm way over french manicures, especially ones with giant stripes of white on top.

I notice that a lot of my brides are doing neutral/pink/slightly glittery nails with a different color or design on their ring finger, which I think is really cute.
