Nail Color for Engagement!! Eekk!

I went with a dark color since I'm pale! It was like a dark purple. I'm blonde so not sure that matters. Haha

Okay, this is a weird pre-engagement post. Nail color doesn't matter, marrying your soul mate does.

I'd say just go with whatever looks good on your nails usually. Have you seen the ring already or did you just tell your SO what kind you wanted?

I worried about this too when I got engaged and I picked the wrong color and I thought it would be the end of the world but nothing else mattered when FH proposed to me because I was officially going to spend the rest of my life with my best friend. Don't worry about it too much

This is silly, with that said my fiance begged me to get my nails done the week prior and i did not.

After the engagement, I didn't even care.

Paint them any color you normally would and go about your life as if you're NOT getting proposed to this weekend. don't be weird about it and don't get your hopes up- not to be negative, but it really might not happen.

I had black nail polish on when he asked. it was chipped. I wasn't even wearing a bra. my clothes didn't match. I didn't expect a proposal by any means. he didn't care what I looked like.

I can't even believe this is a thing. if you are really about to get engaged, then you have NO idea that you have bigger fish to fry than what nail polish you wear any given day. either way, good luck!

@ashleydanielle. Aw! That's so nice. FH got my ring while I was getting my nails done. I got it two days later. I had no idea and even if I did I wouldn't have changed from my pink and white I've been rocking for years.

No one will be looking at your nails. If your that worried about it, do a french. Problem solved. Goes with everything.

Nail color, in no case, is the end of the world.

Just get your nails done the way you would normally get your nails done. If you don't usually get your nails done, and you insist on getting them done, then just go with something natural. No one will really notice or care either way.

FH and I were sitting on my back patio having coffee. I was in socks, yoga pants and a t-shirt with no nail polish on. *gasp!*

My sister kept a manicure for like 6 months because she kept thinking she was going to be proposed to. She went with pale pink so it would be classic. FH proposed to me on a canoe camping trip, so it had been 3 days since my last shower and my nails were nice and muddy from putting the canoe in and out of the water in the rain. It didn't make that moment any less special

I'd go with classic colors - red, pale pink, or a french manicure. It's fun to have your nails ready, but please don't be disappointed if the proposal doesn't happen when you think it will!

FH and I had been together for 7 years, talking a lot about and planning for marriage for at least 4 of those last 7 years, I had gone with him to pick out the ring, and I was STILL surprised by the proposal. I didn't see it coming, and was super rude and asked him why he was acting so weird
