My wedding is in November, do I still have time to find a dress with all these store closures/ordering delays? What are other November brides doing?

I'm not a November bride but if you're up for online ordering, you can check the bridal resale site called Stillwhite. It's where I got my dress and I got mine within a week after purchasing. You talk directly with the seller and the company is paired with PayPal for purchase protection. All you'd really need to worry about after receiving is alterations, which shouldn't be that much to handle if you shop dresses by your size. Good luck!

I got my dress from BHLDN and it was delivered within a few days. I had a normal appointment, but I know they're doing virtual consultations/appointments now, so you could definitely try that!

Yes. I’m not sure where you are but I know David’s Bridal near me is open for appointments only so that you can still go and try on and buy and have alterations. But this way they can’t limit the number of people inside at a time better.

I ordered from cocomelody since they offered home try-on. Production times vary per dress but you can pay a little extra to reduce the production time.

I’m an October bride and just went today to a local shop to try on dresses. I let my stylist know before arriving that my wedding is relatively close, so she only let me try on styles she knew she would be able to get in with enough time for alterations as well. I found a beautiful dress I loved! You have plenty of time.

I would try Azazie! They have home try on and have amazing reviews. They also have a custom fit option that could minimize the alterations you need, if they can product it fast enough.

My wedding is in novemeber too, and i was worried about covid19 delays so i ordered my davids bridal dress in march to be safe, but it arrived in just over a month lol. But now im worried our bridesmaids dresses from jjshouse will be arriving around august or September which is cutting it close, So it depends on your vendor.

Cocomelody is a great option. They are reasonably priced and have a great selection. I purchased my reception dress from them.

Hi I’m a November bride, too! We have several local shops just a few hours away. All of them let me take 2 guests in. Due to me being plus size. The lead time on most dresses was 4 months, so I would go sooner rather than later.

They don't do alterations, but they did give me a list of local seamstresses they recommended so I went to one of those. Also, I needed alterations, but I'm a weird size. They use regular dress sizes (not "bridal") so if you don't normally have issues with clothes fitting, you might be able to get a dress that doesn't need to be altered or only needs to be hemmed.
