I think it looks great! I love the lip color. Aside from the bold lip, your makeup looks pretty natural and not too overbearing. Is it the lip color that bothers you FH?

The makeup really brings out your eyes. I think you have a very natural look with the makeup but not the lips. If you went a little lighter it may meet both his and your wants half way 😀 also just a tip when you have a thinner upper lip than lower lip if you use liner and line a little above the lip line it comes out more even. Great job with your trial. Kudos to you for doing it yourself!

I think it looks beautiful and natural! I love that your FH thinks you look beautiful even without makeup (my fiance says the same 🥰) But photos always wash you out, so makeup is pretty necessary! I think it's a pretty good compromise, maybe if you went with a lighter lip as others have said (though I personally love the color you have, you really pull it off well!)

& unfortunately its not even just the lip...he doesnt like any of it haha

just says that I shouldnt wear any makeup...

he has said before though that he would rather me just wear lip gloss which is surprising since the lip gloss he is talking about is sticky

and strange i think to wear lip gloss and no makeup elsewhere

and yes exactly! thats what I am thinking and have been told before is that pictures will do that to you especially if youre taking outdoor pictures.

I will...consider going lighter on lips haha

Ill just try to talk to him more about it tomorrow and see if going lighter will help;

However the more I think about his reactions the more I think that it wouldnt matter either way

since he would rather nothing be on my face at all...so we'll see what happens.

I think it looks natural already! You did great , the makeup just blends with your eyes and creates the natural look. I agree with the ladies about the bold lip color maybe getting a lighter color will meet with both! ☺️

I would encourage you to wear as little or as much makeup as you want on your wedding day. As long as you're comfortable and feel like yourself, that's what's most important

I personally, love the lip color. Nothing wrong with a little glam on your big day

It really blends in perfectly, I don't think the lip color is too bold at all. It will show up against your dress. I vote yes for the whole look 👍❤

As the pps have already said, it's important for you to feel happy and confident on your wedding day so if this makeup makes you feel this way - I say go for it!

Personally I think it looks great and very natural. I wouldn't know you had makeup on other than your mascara and lip color (beautiful shade btw) so maybe get a different lip color than is more neutral so it doesn't "pop" as much. This is a tough one though, I would want him to like how I look but I would also want to feel pretty. I say just play around with different shades and looks and see if there might be one he likes or is more ok with than just going bare faced. Good luck!

I agree, fake lashes will be great! I think the lip color is stunning, but maybe go with a more natural look if your fiance prefers it?

Someone asked I believe how my hair will be. It will pinned be off to the side and curled.

Also this lip color is "loved" by Milani and it's the amour collection so it smells like fresh buttercream until it dries and is 24 hr. 💚💋

My husband was the same way he asked that I not wear any make up he said I look better au natural. I looked inside myself and realized to make myself feel beautiful and to have awesome pictures I need to go with what my gut was telling me. So I went all out. Trust me he won't be upset or disappointed on the day of your wedding. We will be in shock with how beautiful you are as a whole package.

I think your makeup is gorgeous, on date nights changing my lipstick to a nude changes his mind entirely. Dark lipstick can make the whole face seem darker. So try some nude shades and see if you like any, if not I’m sure y’all can settle on something.
