My lace garter keeps slipping!

OK I order the "something blue " garter from Etsy. It is beautiful. Fits good just slips when I walk I don't want to be walking down aisle or dancing worrying about my garter. Any ideas how to keep it up on my leg? Thanks

    Double-sided fashion tape. You can get it at most department stores and online.

    Back in they day when I danced, if the boot covers wouldn't stay up we would put a ring of hot glue around the top in the inside and it helped, not sure if you'd want to try that with this though
