My lace garter keeps slipping!

Are you tossing it? I would just wait to put it on until you do the toss. My lace garter does the same thing...

I'm not a seamstress or a crafty person, so I don't know actual names or terms, but I know at craft stores there is a silicone strip thing that you can put on the inside of it so that it will grip your skin more. I'm not sure if it just adheres or if it has to be sewn in or what, but hopefully someone can tell you exactly what it is called, sorry

What about double-sided dress tape?

I got the same one but in yellow and grey and used double sided tape. Just make sure to let FH know if you are doing a garter toss.

I had to a tie a knot in the back of mine. It was way to big and I didn't find out until my wedding day so I just knotted it and it worked fine but had I known ahead of time I would have maybe cut it and sewn it back together.

It sounds like it is too big for you! If you can find someone who can sew. It would take two seconds to make it smaller on sewing machine.

I made my own out of lace and an applique. I sewed a little elastic into the underside of mine so that it felt secure but didn't ruin the look of the front. It was also because the garter itself was a little heavy to hold up without getting a weird muffin leg look going on (as sexy as that would be).. so maybe you could try that?

That would be a super easy fix if you have a sewing machine and white thread! Like really easy-done-in-10-minutes! Or you could do it by hand.

Hot glue on the inside? ETA: I don't mean glue it to your leg, but a strip or two of hot glue helps hold thigh-high stockings up
