My Hands Look Awful!!

Rhonda, on August 19, 2011 at 2:32 PM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 10

The other day I saw a pic that had been taken of me laughing - with my hand over my mouth. That's when I realized just how bad my hands looked.

Granted, I am 50 years old and my hands are smooth to the touch but seems like there is a lot of wrinkles and a few age spots.

Any suggestions as to what I can do to make them look better? My wedding won't be until the fall of 2012.

Try putting a smoothing facial cream on them at night and exfoliating them. Treat them kind of like your face.

I heard yogurt works well, soaking them daily in yogurt. Exfoliiation too.

Me too, I hate my hands (I'm 46). Try some mild Retin A cream, it works just as well on your hands as your face. Smiley smile

Rubbing a lemon on your hands will help to minimize the age spots... so my mother says!

Completely random, but Mary Kays a product called Satin hands, i'd see if you can get in touch with a sales consultant and see about getting a sample. i work in an assembly plant and my hands are DISGUSTING come the end of the day. So i used that stuff and i must say, they look 100x's better!

Clinique has a serum called Even Better that would help with the age spots... also Lancome has something called Bright Expert... but I think the one from clinique has better reviews... and is not as expensive!

@Kiesha- LOVE satin hands.... LOVE it!

As a Mary Kay Consultant I would find one in your area, try Satin Hands and the Hand & Decollete Hand Cream. The satin hands is also great for using on your feet!

I was just in bath and body works and picked up the "True Blue Spa, Paraffin" lotion and it is working really well! Once I saw the results, I thought of your post.

    Hope all is well!

Right now I'm using Vaseline Renewal - an age-redefining body lotion with collagen & pro-retinol. I try to use it at least twice a day on my hands.
