I was worried about my makeup for my wedding. I'm ok at putting it on, but not ok with it staying on. My friend of 45 years, Georgiana was thrilled when I asked her to help me. She's also my bridesmaid. She always looks amazing and put together. I tried watching makup tutorials on Youtube, but primers, setting sprays, contouring....it was all to much. I know part of my issue is buying inexpensive, ok CHEAP makeup. I realize I have to invest in some better stuff for the day. i'm looking at Revlon colorstay and/or covergirl outlast stuff. I've used both in the past and I know they are good. What are you doing?

Awesome! I'm glad you found a friend that can help. I had my makeup professionally done, it's a little embarrassing when I try to do it by myself haha!

I love your photos! What a beautiful friendship, you’ve known each other your whole lives!
I don’t know how these look in professional photography but I think Nyx is an excellent brand for how affordable it is.
Keep in mind more expensive makeup usually has sample sizes or travel kits too, you might be able to get a good haul of makeup for your wedding for little $. Urban Decay, Benefit, Estee Lauder, Lancome, NARS and Tarte all do sample makeup sizes, about $5-$10 each.

That is so fun!! I don't wear make up, but I also have a friend who is a make up wiz who agreed to help me. She will also be doing my hair so its a twofer deal!
