My first try at diy bouquet

Kenzie, on January 8, 2020 at 10:21 PM Posted in Do It Yourself 2 13

So I attempted making a bouquet today! I did this pretty quickly, and do actually really like it for my first try! Fist picture was before I added more greenery! I also feel like the first pic it was more fluffy but when I taped it I feel like it lost the fullness. Am I crazy? Or do you see that too? Any additional suggestions are welcomed!!

    Hey there!
I like the general shape of the bouquet.
As a floral designer myself, I feel that the tall eucalyptus in back, takes away from the shape and doesn't add to the appeal.
It's too tall. Cut it to the same height as your flowers and keep the one in the back, in the same place , but shorter. Move the one on the right in to the empty space between the leaf and eucalyptus to the right of your hand .
It will give you volume, instead of height, which is what you need.
Just a few tweeks, but great overall. Hope that helps.

I don't think you lost any fluffy, and the extra greenery looks great! Nice job.

Thank you for the advice! I was unsure about the tall eucalyptus and making it shorter is something I was debating so thanks for that!!! (:

    You are welcome!
Then stand in front of a mirror and hold it in front of you.
You will get a better feel of how it will look at the wedding.

Thank you! I was struggling for what I wanted, originally I thought I wanted all white but I think these peachy & pink tones will be great for a June wedding!
