The first time I met my fiances best friends wife was during their wedding planning process and the FIRST thing she said to me is "you cant ride in my limo". I was in shock I didnt even assume I would be riding with the bridal party for their wedding but I just got an awful impression after that.

When people are aggressively insulting (especially on a first meeting) , they've shown you what their insecurities are. Generally, they feel less than everyone else. I don't know who raised this girl, and I don't know who made her feel so bad about herself, but unless she has a real DSM IV psychiatric disorder, the woman you're talking about has personal issues. Of course, that's not your problem. Take the higher road and show her what class looks like.
