My dress... that fiance doesn't like....

Dont worry about it...to guys lots of dresses dont look good. but once he sees you in it...he wont stop smiling

That gown is beautiful on you, dont worry, when he sees you in it, he's gonna love it. My FH does that ALL the time, he'll see something i've picked and grimmace. I promise you when he sees my body in it he changes his mind EVERY TIME.

I doubt he will even remember the comme t or dress he thought he didn't like.

I agree with the other posters. Most men won't be able to picture what the dress will look like on. It is hard enough from us as many people have shared - "I never thought I would wear a...... but then I put it on and......"

Karen- I don't want to get another dress but I'm struggling with the fact that fiancé may not like it.

Thanks ladies! I'm sure he won't remember the comment. In his defense, I didn't like it on the hanger or on my body until I put the sash on with it.

Fortunately, my dress was super inexpensive. I cried when I tried on my first dress. $200 from David's Bridal. It was perfect, in my eyes. FH said "If you want something a little fancier, you could keep shopping". Hint, hint...Anyway, I found a second dress for the ceremony, also for $200 (on sale from $600)

Stephanie- yes! I went in looking for a ball gown and ended up with this. Go figure

I'm not going to lie. That dress is absolutely STUNNING on you but if my FH said he didn't like my dress it would drive me INSANE! The reality is I can almost guarantee you he will think you are gorgeous but for my own sanity of have to get a new dress.

MrsC- I'm trying not to die. I love it but he needs to love it too. I guess I'll just keep praying his jaw drops

Don't worry about it, when he sees you in the dress, he probably won't connect the two. You look stunning in it, I wouldn't question it.

Thanks ladies! I feel amazing in it. I even asked if it was ok to feel "sexy" in your wedding dress. Fiancé betterrrrr like it.

It looks beautiful but how about asking him what he doesnt like... was it the fabric? (shiny, lace, too poofy, etc). That way you can know better if it was just bc it was just hanging there lifeless, or he didnt like the fabric/cut/color/style.... then you can decide what to do!

And i mean ask in general what he likes - point to similar dresses in magazines... you dont wanna ask about that one or hell know something's up lol! Mine knows nothing about dresses, all he knew was that he didnt like poofy lol

Deborah- he doesn't even know what he likes!! He sometimes loves lace, sometimes hates it. He likes ball gowns, but not if they're too big!

Everything looks different on and youll look so beautiful im sure he wont even notice its the dress he pointed out saying he didnt like! itll be fine! he will love you with whatever dress you choose!
