My daughter CAN'T be a flower girl :-(

We just came back from the church and in the pamphlet they gave us it says flower petals cannot be thrown down the aisle. Our 3 yr old daughter was going to be my FG...now what big role can I have her do? I want her IN the ceremony not just off on the side handing out programs or bubbles. She's too...

She's too little to do a reading. Any ideas?

It's pretty standard to not allow flowers to be thrown, just have her carry a basket or a small bouquet down the aisle.

Thanks everyone. I feel alot better know. I don't know where I've been hiding but I had never heard or seen the flower balls or wands or anything mentioned above. Thanks for bringing me into modern times! LOL

I think I may just have her carry a flower ball or bouquet AND hold the RB's hand. It's her big brother and I think she may feel better if she walks down the aisle with him. Plus it will make him feel like he's really helping his little sister.

A small ball of flowers with a carrying string. (I don't know the actuall term of it.) She can walk down the aisle with flowers, but not actually throw them on the floor of the church. They usually are very pretty and, from pictures I've seen, have looked very precious in pictures.

They dont necessarily have to be throwing flowers. They can just carry a basket with flowers or a pomander, which is what I am planning to do. My flower girls will carry a pomander they look really cute!!
