Music! Unique first dance songs and reception entrance songs that are not over done!

We’re dancing to calling you by Justin furstenfeld (it’s a blue October song but he’s the lead singer and did a much slower more acoustic version of it)


I love the song. Probably not for everyone lol but Blue October is one of our favorite bands to go see live and we love this song

We did our first dance to Elvis Presley I can't help falling in love with you. Not unique but still beautiful . My brother loves Star Wars so he did his entrance to the reception with Star Wars music. We love Australian stuff so we used a song from an Australian movie for our leaving the church. Do you have any movies or songs that are special to you that you could use? It doesn't matter if they have been done before if you love them

Our first dance is going to be to I Am Yours by Andy Grammer.

Our first dance song is, “Is that alright” by Lady Gaga. It’s incredibly romantic and meaningful. Most people wouldn’t know this song.

Thank you for the suggestions. I am surprising my hubby with a private first dance to can't help falling in love from Crazy Rich Asians but that will be just him and I with my brother playing the guitar and my good friend singing. I have Jess Glynne slated for our leaving the ceremony Hold my Hand.

That sounds so romantic to surprise your husband with a special first dance especially with just your brother and friend involved .

If you like instrumental, I suggest entering to a trumpet fanfare. For example, Rondeau et Fanfares by Mouret. It's actually going to be my processional. It may be a little over done, but our first dance song will be to Sway by Dean Martin.
