I am stuck when it comes to picking out music for the reception! If there are any suggestions that you have please leave them below to help a sister out. I’m looking for suggestions for the first dance, Father/daughter (in my case it will be my grandfather), Groom and his mom...basically anything and everything you may need a song for, I need a some help with.

Do you have a DJ, or are you putting together an iPod playlist?
Also, what type of music do you usually listen to?
Your FH should really decide on the dance with his mom, so get him to think.
Spotify has a lot of wedding playlists, it's a good place to start.

For your first dance, is there a song that is meaningful to you and your fiance? If not, search through Pinterest or YouTube or even just a generic Google search. There are plenty of suggestions out there for all genres. Otherwise, if you have a DJ, ask them for suggestions. If they do a lot of weddings, they will almost certainly have some ideas for you!

Is there a movie or tv series you like? aha i know that sounds weird to ask but i chose my first dance song because of one tree hill and just in general because i loved the lyrics of the song. so maybe if you browsed around and there are those special tv moments like your favorite tv couple dancing romantically to a specific song, etc
