Mountaintop wedding venues in New England?

Abby, on April 4, 2016 at 8:40 PM Posted in Planning 0 5

Hi! Anybody know of any mountaintop wedding ceremony/reception venues in the New Hampshire/Vermont area? I'm picturing a gondola ride up to the summit for a private ceremony with amazing mountain views. I've seen a couple ceremony venues that have this, but I'm having trouble finding something that also has a beautiful reception area...

Any suggestions would be appreciated!!

I think Killington's Peak Lodge does weddings. It's a beautiful view.

Both Killington and Stowe have mountain top ceremony locations (there are minimums for both). I'm sure there are tons and tons of others. Basically, anywhere that has skiing will likely have this. Try also Loon Mountain in NH and other White Mountain resorts.

Not quite in New Hampshire, but Sunday River in Maine has a fabulous mountaintop venue.

Castle in the clouds in NH is beautiful. There is a trolley that will take guests up, views of Lake Winnepasaukee, an indoor/outdoor venue, and stables. I love hiking there when we visit, and I wish we seriously considered getting married there!
