Mother/Son songs

We had a really hard time with this too! DH ended up using In My Life by The Beatles for the mother/son dance. It was cute since my dad and I also danced to a Beatles song.

Following so I can make suggestions. I have repeatedly asked FH to discuss this with his mother and he hasn't. She does love the Beatles, so that is an option.

Kimi- same here and now that she found out that my dad and I are doing a dance to my girl and he involved my siblings, she wants to do some big thing but won't make any decisions!

They danced to the short version of Louis Armstrong's "La Vie en Rose" it was really beautiful.

My FH and his mom are dancing to 'Don't Blink' by Kenny Chesney. She knew exactly what she wanted from the get go!

Following because this is one of the only things we haven't figured out.

A song for mama - boys II men

FH and his mother are both ridiculous procrastinators (must be genetic lol) so they don't seem to have any intentions of picking a song anytime soon. If they don't come up with anything by the final hour, I'm just going to ask them to dance to "A Song for Mama" by Boyz II Men.

"My Wish" by Rascal Flatts

This was actually the one thing that my FH knew right when I asked him. He wanted to do Perfect Fan By the Backstreet Boys. I wasn't familiar with it but when I listened to it I loved it.

My MIL chose the song because she was set on it and he didn't really even want to do one. They danced to "I Hope You Dance".

We're combining the mother/son and father/daughter dance, and are dancing to Phil Collins' "You'll be in my Heart"

My son and I danced to "Fly me to the moon" by Frank Sinatra

LOVE "Sweet Pea" Matt! Will dance to that with my other son, thanks!

H and his mom did Sheryl Crow's version of "Sweet Child of Mine," and it was wonderful!
