My mom is really wanting to wear pants instead of a dress, if possible. However, I'm having a really hard time finding a pantsuit or outfit dressy enough, in the correct color, and don't cost a huge amount. Does anyone have any suggestions? I will definitely check out the suggestions. Our colors are navy and gray with accents of yellow/red/orange, so she wants to go with either navy like the girls or gray like the guys. You would think those colors would be a little easier to accommodate, but most of the stuff we have found in those colors to this point, neither one of us has liked. I'll consider the palazzo pant and nice top idea and see what she thinks.

Jumpers are cute! That might help widen your search, there are quite a few classy/dressy jumpers too!

Dress barn, although the name doesn't sound very fancy, has some great pant suits and dresses! =)
