Mother of bride corsage??

To do or not to do? Is this still a thing? Any other ideas out there? Her grandmother will probably get a pin on corsage, but my mom an stepmom are younger and I feel like corsage or pins are out dated, any ideas?

My florist made 3 very small arrangements (she called them “tussy mussies”) for my mom, the groom’s mom, and our only living grandmother. It is something they can hold when they come down the aisle. It just so happened they our moms preferred to not have a corsage on their wrist during the reception Mother of bride corsage?? 1

If corsages aren't your thing, I've actually seen MOB/MOG carry delicate bouquets.

I know for a fact my Mom will want one. My FMIL I'm not sure if she will want one. I'll offer her one, but she's kind of an alternative Mom, (my fiance calls her by her name instead of Mom). Really I think it would be best if you talked to the Mom's/Grandma's and see what they want. If they don't want one, see your florist for other options or suggestions.

So it's still a thing if you want it to be a thing! We are doing the wrist ones for both our mothers to I guess pay respect and acknowledge that they are the people who brought us here in a sense.

Mother of bride corsage?? 4Our florist suggested a tussy mussy for our mothers. They had to explain what it was to me. Basically, the moms get a very small bouquet to walk down the aisle with.

Personally i think that pins or brooches are grandmotherly, but that's just because my grandma wore them a lot. I don't think corsages are at all! I wore one to every school dance and I ordered one for my mom and FMIL!

I wondered the same thing — reminds me so much of prom! So I decided to Facebook stalk all my friends who have recently gotten married and analyzed their pictures haha. Looks like it's very common, so these are the ones I'm getting for my mom and MIL:

We are doing floral cuffs for both mothers. Our florist will be putting the flowers on a copper cuff that will also be engraved so it will turn into a keepsake.

I was going to do all of that but i just decided to do my mom and GM since flowers are so expensive. My fiance' mother is in heaven but honestly I am thinking of cancelling them since adjustments for COVID meanss half the amount of people and I don't think they care about the corsages.

We're doing wrist corsages for the moms, pin-ons for the grandmothers, and bouts for the fathers and grandfathers.

We did wrist corsages as that's what the moms preferred. We gave them a few options: wrist corsages, lapel corsages, and single flowers.
