My mom actually found a beautiful dressy pantsuit at Nordstrom’s ( she even found it on sale ) and she loves it.

Eshakti has pants mostly in black. You have to weed through some that are obviously for a younger person. The good news is that you can customize them entirely to your measurements for $10. I saw some at David's bridal. My mom isn't sure which she'd prefer so I was looking around. Although she isn't petite. They were nice and formal.

My sister is wearing a suit. We went to the same shop (BachRach) that did my Groom and groomsmen outfits, and they tailored a suit for her figure. It's super flattering and inexpensive.

So much easier that way, because department stores were too business-y looking and bridal shops just don't carry things like that.

My mother got hers from David's Bridal. It's beautiful! And she said it is very comfortable.

Check out Macy*s and Nordstrom. My mom will also be wearing a pantsuit- just her preference. Unfortunately all the ones I liked on Pinterest didn't link to anywhere!

Not sure where you live, but check Nordstrom, Dillards, Macy's, Belk. If you live in the South East I know that Belk ususally has a very good selection of more formal wear.

Any department store will have what you're looking for. Basically "classic" MOB attire.

I wore palazzo pants and a satin top to my oldest daughter's wedding. Both purchased at Dress Barn.
