Most stressful??

I’m curious, what is the most stressful part of wedding planning for you guys? Mine would have to be picking a hair style to wear and makeup! I decided I’m doing my own makeup but picking a hairstyle is so hard for me lol. Everything else is super smooth since our venue is all inclusive.

Me too! We have everything paid for besides the honeymoon! We have two months to come
up with a few thousand so we are panicking but I think we will be okay! We are having 115 guests and we aren’t dancing either!

Yess, I’m having my wedding here in Arizona where I live but majority of my family wants me to find bundles online for them for a flight and hotel so it’s stressful having to do all of that for them. I bet your wedding is going to be beautiful though, where are you guys going for the wedding?

Ugh that’s the worse, I swear 85% of my wedding is my FH side and they don’t even like him and they really don’t like me because of some drama so this will be interesting..but it’s family so we have to invite them and be polite lol

We have 10 months to pay for everything so I’m trying not to think about it right now haha. It sucks because I would have been fine eloping (we’re both quite introverted and we’ve never been public about our relationship) so we started off with a honeymoon in London and Paris for a week. Then down to just London and now we’re thinking about driving a province over to spend a few days in Edmonton, AB. I think it would be fun but not really for our honeymoon..

Are you hiring a DJ or doing any other activities during the wedding?

We are very introverted ourselves and we are planning our honeymoon in Cancun Mexico. London and Paris sound beautiful I would love to go there. The venue has speakers upstairs so I made a playlist of piano versions of pop songs and whatever so I’ll just be playing that during the reception. We won’t have dancing or alcohol since my FH is Romanian, I wish to go by his religion and their traditions which is they don’t dance at weddings lol! We will have a little champagne toast and fun games such as the shoe game but other than that we want to keep everything short and sweet

That sounds like a very peaceful reception. How long is your reception? I think we’ll add board games because that’s a very “us” thing to do

I'm stressing out over finding a caterer that won't charge more for the food than the actual venue cost. I'm getting married at the Phoenix Zoo, and they have a list of preferred caterers that I have to choose from. I've already ruled out three because they were super expensive. I've already cut my guest list down by 15 people.

My wedding is being held in a very small town, Glenwood MN. Both of our families are from there, so lots of our family currently lives there including my grandparents and his aunts uncles and cousins. However, us, my parents and his parents are all 1.5+ hours away. I love where we picked, but it makes a lot of things a little more complicated!!

Well the ceremony starts at 3pm and it will be an hour long, then right after starts the reception and I’m thinking it will be 3 hours.

I am glad I do not have that stress but a strict guest list for costs is really important especially for planning for EVERYTHING. That is sweet he is reconnecting with everyone. 100 adds up quick. My FH keeps telling "friends" at work, people he has never even mentioned to me, that they are invited. We are having a small wedding of close family and friends under 70 people. We chose to get married on a Monday so people arent just looking for a good time but are people who truly want to see us be happy and married. I have been criticized for the Monday date but that is my logic to my madness

I agree with you on the hair. I myself have locs that I've had for 10 years now. For 10 years I have been doing my own hair only been to a shop twice and both times the persons didnt execute my hairstyles to my liking. So that is going to be a big choice and scare for me because I do not want to do my own hair. Also, Im planning my own wedding, so it gets stressful over different things.

Ugh my MOH!! She puts so much pressure on herself to make everything “perfect” for me and spends redic money, that she blew up. We’re still trying to work through It because she said some pretty hurtful things- yet is still planning my bachelorette party?? I dunno anymore... I’m just rolling with it LOL
