Most Stressful Part of Wedding Planning!!

I have 347 days before my Wedding Day, that may seem like alot of time to most but for me it feels like it down to the wire. The most stressful part of my planing is having a fiance' that wants to help with planning but gets frustrated when I ask about locations for honey moon or anything to do with planning and states that he hasn't had time to think about it. Lol... I Love him with all my heart but it doesn't help that he is OCD.... What should I do to make this planning go a little smoother???

    Maybe ask him if there are certain things he would like to plan? Maybe something that doesn't have to be done right now like music playlists or gathering addresses? Good luck!

    My FH is the same actually could careless about the planning yet wants an opinion on everything. I would rather plan it myself since I made the deal of I want the ceremony I want and he can do the honeymoon how he wants. It is not uncommon that our partner can not have the same planning mindset.

    Maybe write a list of things that are imortant to you, ans have him do that same. Try to meet in the middle as much as possible. The wedding is very much so about you both. I think it's great that he wants to be involved.
    Also... you could try picking a day to go over this all. Maybe if he knows ahead of time and is able to make his list, might be less stressful for you both. Good luck!

    Maybe give him something small to plan. My FH is planning the rehearsal dinner and our mini-moon. I gave him a few suggestions for both, ultimately he asked me to pick the place for the mini-moon, but he is handling all the booking for our room.

    I was going to say give him a specific task to do. My FH is in charge of the playlists for the day, so I let him handle that within reason - he has a love of death metal that would probably kill some of our older relatives. Can he handle something like the cake?

    I would give him "deadlines". Since he usually replies he hasn't had time to think about it, say something like "I want both of us to come with two destinations each for our honeymoon next Tuesday, then we can discuss and narrow our 4 options down" or "How about in two days we sit down and decide if want cupcake or sheet cake for dessert, then we can set up a tasting!" that way he has time to research things to his liking, and the decisions get made quickly!

    Thanks!! I found my fiance was most interested in honeymoon and food, so I let him take the lead on those!
