We are decently established and have a tiny apartment so we can't fit much, but we don't want a honeyfund and wouldn't mind some physical gifts so we're going to do a registry on Amazon. We're thinking of putting a waterproof camera on our registry, which would be really fun to use on our honeymoon. However, the one we want is $350. Obviously we'll have things at other price points but is $350 too much?

The kitchen aid mixer was our most expensive item as well, for $399.

FH added a XBOX One Titanfall Edition to our Amazon registry. $499 I believe. I gave him so much shit for putting one on there (he has a regular XBOX One) but I left it on there so people would know he contributed, hahaha.

I don't think that's too bad. It doesn't mean they HAVE to get it for you. The most expensive SINGULAR thing that we had on our registry is a $199.99 comforter set for our queen guestbed. Other than that, our fine china was 79.99 each place setting and we asked for 8. My FMIL bought us all 8, which is over $600! I almost cried.

Ours is the standing mixer. It's about $400. I don't expect anyone to buy it but FH made me add it because I wanted it and he said he'd buy it as a Christmas or anniversary gift if no one else bought it

The most expensive thing on our registry is a Kitchen-Aid Mixer for $400 but I figured since we are doing our registry at Kohl's they always have coupons and sales.

My Aunt told me that she wanted to replace my KitchenAid mixer (the one I have now is from FHs mom and is really old), so I added the one I wanted to the registry ($450). My Aunt, 2 Cousins, and Grandma went in together to get it for my Bridal Shower - it is pretty awesome. =)

We also registered for pots and pans, which were around $500, but my friend told me I should register for each piece separately (as more people would likely be able to purchase a piece instead of a whole set). The plan is to take the individual pieces back to the store and buy the set...as it is a lot cheaper to buy the set than the pieces individually.

Our knife set is $400 and our pot set is also $400. I figured some of our friends or BP would chip in bc than if the girls chipped in it would 80 per girl. If we don't get it no big deal.

We put a patio furniture set on there that was almost $1000. We didn't get it from anyone but we put it on there so we could get a completion discount.

Putting a the camera on there is fine for that dollar amount. Some people may get together and buy that gift together.

Okay, I cheated a Lot on my registry, and I'm willing to admit it... All our registry locations offer a percentage off of of items if they're not purchased post wedding, so we added a new bed frame, dresser and end tables on the registry. I know nobody's going to buy them, and we're absolutely going to take advantage of 30% off when October 10 passes.

Besides that, we have a $500 dollar VitaMix on there.

$350 kitchen aid mixer. My coworkers all pitched in and bought it for me.

Also, I don't know what camera you are registering for....but I bought a gopro a few months ago and just brought it to Hawaii and it was amazing.

Everything we registered for was pretty reasonable, but we did put big ticket items on in the hopes that we'd get a bunch of gift cards, or people would go in on it.

The most expensive items we registered for were a Dyson vacuum (I think it was $649) and a riding lawn mower (I think it was $1800).

Keurig Rivo and Margaritaville Frozen Concoction Maker. Both are $199 each. Still need to add a pots and pans set though. Going to have FH pick those out. He likes cooking more than I do and he's picky about kitchen stuff. Those could end up being the most expensive thing on our registry.

Some of the luggage pieces are the most expensive at $540, but they are also on a close out sale so they are not expected to go above $215 in price before the wedding. We talked to the store and while we risk them selling out because it is a closeout, they don't anticipate selling out before our wedding. The next biggest ticket item we have is a pot and pan set for $500. We registered for the individual pieces of the set too and threw the set on there too since if we buy the set we get a free gift. Our intention was to return the pieces and finish the set ourselves, but some mystery person bought the whole set for us already!

IDK- I put the Wii U on our registry. Smiley smile just put a range of stuff on there. if people don't like how much it costs then they can just choose something else. I wouldn't worry about it myself. in my family a lot of people would probably go together on the high priced items.
