Morning, afternoon or evening?

Christina - I think the reason is, one is somewhat limited by how early one's hair and MUA can get to your hotel room to start hair on 4-8 women to get you to the venue by 8am LOL :-p

Late afternoon...4:30!

We're thinking about starting around 6:30 for our Friday night wedding.

Ours will be starting at 3:00 pm. I honestly cannot remember why we chose 3 lol.

Afternoon, our ceremony is starting at 4pm.

I went to a brunch wedding last year though, the ceremony started at 11am, and it was gorgeous.

but a sunrise elopement on a east facing cliff would be pretty amazing

eta: i chose 3:30 because i wanted the reception to go as long as possible since we need to be out by 10

Morning ceremony, brunch reception. 11 am ceremony and 12-4 brunch.

I think around 4:30 would be my favorite time to hold the ceremony.

5pm but it's winter so sunset is earlier.

Ceremony I believe will be starting at 4:30 pm. I can't imagine what time people would have to start getting ready for the morning weddings but you are right, the pictures would be very beautiful if you could catch some of that sunrise!

I'm probably having late afternoon, but my SiL insisted that she wanted to get married to my brother by a lake, under a willow at the first light of dawn. She found her perfect spot too... She wore minimal makeup, and only a partial updo. Pics were alright, but not spectacular because it was very overcast.

Afternoon! Ceremony will start at 4:30 and cocktail hour will begin right after that.

Mine was at 6pm. it was on a Friday so that was the reason.

Ours is at 6pm. I wanted to move it up to 5:30, but the venue is already allowing us to start 30 minutes earlier than they usually do. But because sunset is at 630 that day, it'll be close.
